Autumn Nail Polish

These are my favourite nail polishes for Autumn so far!

MeMeMe Nail Collection Long Lasting Gloss - 92 Alluring:
This is a great autumn/winter colour and lasts well on the nails. It looks like a glittery gold in the photo above but it's a matte brown/taupe colour. It dries so quickly too!

FCUK Nail Polish (don't know the colour name sorry!):
This muted grey-blue is similar to no other nail polish I own, it's such a unique colour. It is watery to put on so it requires a few coats, but dries quite quickly.

Fearne by Fearne Cotton Nail Polish (don't know the colour name):
This looks blue on the photo above but it's actually a metallic grey/silver which looks quite metal-y. These are such good nail polishes and dry quite quickly.

Nails INC - Lowndes Square:
I love the colour of this nail polish. It's very different to what I'd usually wear as it's purple/lilac but I think it's great for autumn! The polish is quite liquid-y so I'd recommend a few coats to make it opaque.

Fabulous Nail Paint by Barry M Limited Edition:
I got this months ago and due to it being limited edition by Fabulous Magazine it isn't sold anymore, but there are so many colours very similar to this you can find anywhere! It's a very bright, sexy and bold colour which I think is very different to the other colours I have featured in this post, but that's good, right?
Front Cover Nail Polish - Beetroot:
This is a very dark red with tiny sparkles in which I think is great. Usually I'd wear dark matte nail polishes (even in the summer...), so when I tried this I was surprised I liked it on as it was so glittery but because it's dark you don't notice it as much. It takes quite a while to dry but goes on the nail well.

What autumn nail polishes do you recommend? Have you tried any of these nail polishes I've recommended?

Glossybox 'the London Edition' September 2013

I admit when I first opened it I was not impressed, but after giving it a thorough look through I think the products aren't actually too bad. They will get used at least!
Glossybox had a different sort-of design this month, with a magazine and smaller product card. The theme this month was based around London Fashion Week, and picked out the new latest products which they have been loving.

"Elizabeth Arden UNTOLD eau de parfum: A luxurious and modern floral fragrance, UNTOLD celebrates the sophistication and intrigue of the multi-faceted modern woman. From her vibrant optimism and refined femininity to her mysterious aura and magnetic sensuality, UNTOLD's sparkling and fruity introduction, radiant floral heart and mysterious addictive warmth captures femininity in a bottle as beautiful and multifaceted as woman herself." £48 for 50ml, £69 for 100ml
This perfume smells amazing, although I wouldn't personally choose a scent like this as I think it's aimed at older women. I love the cute bottle design instead of a boring vial sample which Glossybox sometimes gives.

"Eylure Pre-Glued Lashes: Eylure's pre-glued lashes mean no mess, no fuss and no waiting! Simply remove the lashes from the tray and apply to get natural looking, perfectly full lashes every time." £5.06 one set
I think these eyelashes are more difficult to apply than normal ones, but they do look very natural and they're handy to keep.

"Toni&Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe Classic Shine & Gloss Serum: Meet the limited edition packaging by Fashion's Fairy Godmother Lulu Kennedy. The Classic Shine Gloss Serum controls frizz with lightweight shine and alignment." £7.19 for 30ml
I've only used this once so far and it didn't leave my hair feeling greasy at all, it just gave it a nice texture, but I wouldn't say it made it more shiny.

"Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Onyx Eyeliner: Onyx' best-selling eyeliner will last throughout your entire day, no matter how hectic it is! With a felt tip to draw a thin line for a casual look or a thicker line for a dramatic look, it is super easy to apply and only takes seconds to dry." $14 for 3g (don't know if this is available in the UK!?)
It's slightly more difficult to get a thin line with this eyeliner but I think it's great. It literally does take only seconds to dry and doesn't budge.

"Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips: Is a cult beauty staple for leaving lips smooth and soft with a glossy sheen. An extremely versatile healing and nourishing multipurpose SOS balm, ultra hydrating and hypoallergenic." £11.50 for 15ml
This is very thick and a little definitely does go a long way so even this sample size will last you a while. It's a good balm to use and definitely hydrates my lips.

What do you think of the products in your Glossybox?

Review: Sleek Pout Paint

Superdrug say: "A truly unique lip product, Pout Paint is an intense lip pigment like no other that is made to be mixed. Pout Paint’s unique formulation dries to an opaque satin finish with the consistency of gloss on application and the staying power of a stain."

And I completely agree with this. Pout Paint is so highly pigmented you only need the tiniest drop on a lip brush to fully cover your lips. It gives a great vibrant colour which stains your lips and lasts for hours, and are buildable to get the colour you want. What I like is that you will always be able to make a colour which you like as they can be mixed together to make colours to suit you. They already have a wide range of colours to choose from (purple, white and even blue are included!), as well as different shades of pink and red. However, if you have dry lips, I'd suggest lightly powdering your lips first, then covering fully with a good moisturising lip balm before applying, as it does stick to dry skin and make it look blotchy because of how pigmented it is. I definitely recommend these as the tube will last you for ages and it is well worth the £4.99, I haven't seen anything like these before! I have swatched Sleek Pout Paint in the colour Pin Up.

Review: Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer

Collection say: "Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer contains light diffusing particles to scatter light and soften fine line and blemishes. Silicone enriched pigments provide a flawless, lasting finish.
Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer combines light reflective technology with an affordable price. This stylish, take-anywhere pen is an absolute fashion must-have."

I have to say, I don't agree on everything they say about this concealer, but it definitely is one of the best I've tried. I think I'm a good guinea pig to try this product out because I have very pale skin which means awfully bad dark circles around my eyes, which I have to attempt to cover up every day. I know I won't be able to hide them completely unfortunately, but having a good coverage concealer will do. I think Collection's concealer does have good coverage, and less is definitely more, it doesn't look caked on at all. However, if you have dry areas on your face, it will cling to them and leave creases in fine wrinkles under the eyes. I personally wouldn't use this on any blemishes I get as I'd want to hide that area, not illuminate it. I usually find this concealer gives me coverage for at least the whole school day which is great as I don't really have time to re-apply during the day.
It does have a brush which is good for applying it to the eye area first before dabbing it in with my index finger to get the coverage I want. The packaging is nothing special and I don't like the fact you can't see when the product inside is going to run out. It lasts me around a month.
I am willing to pay £4.99 a month as I think that is a great, affordable price for a medium coverage foundation which matches my skin tone well. I buy the Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer in the shade 1 Naked.

I hope this review is somewhat helpful to you and your decision to buying this product.
