Glossybox 'Seaside Splash' July 2013

July. The fourth amazing box I have received so far from Glossybox. And, in my opinion they keep getting better, with this being possibly the best box so far.

For those of you who don't know what Glossybox is, it's a monthly box delivered straight to your door, packed with 5 surprise beauty essentials for the month, all for £10. It is beautifully wrapped in cute packaging and every now and then, there is a theme. For example, this month has a 'Seaside Splash' theme, for summer. Plus, the value of the products you receive is always more than what you have paid, making it great value! Once you have tried all your beauty products, log into your Glossybox account and share your thoughts via surveys specialised for each product. In return, you'll receive 50 Glossydots per survey; collect 1000 Glossydots to redeem a free box!

The first product I received in July's Glossybox was Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist. I was surprisingly disappointed with this product as it had no effect on my hair. I sprayed it into my hair after I slightly towel-dried it after a bath and if anything it made my hair straighter! I struggle to find texture mists that work for my hair due to it being long and quite thick, however Mark Hill's Beach Salt Spray is quite good, and a lot cheaper! For Alterna Haircare's Mist, it's £23.00 for 125ml, which is definitely not worth it.

The second product was Coola Organic Suncare Collection SPF 20 Mineral Face Sunscreen and Tinted Moisturiser. I found this product great, it was easy to apply, matched my pale skin colour perfectly, stopped my skin from burning and I didn't have to wear foundation because of it being tinted. However, the sample size in Glossybox was very small (7ml) and won't last very long. To buy the full size (50ml) it's £29.99, which in my opinion, is possibly too much as you can get various products of the same purpose, for much cheaper.

My next product I received was Inecto Pure Coconut Refreshing Dry Shampoo, which is amazing! For only £2.49 for the full size product (150ml), I recommend it a lot, it instantly refreshes your hair, smells great and leaves no white residue, meaning you don't really have to brush it out!

The next product was a Ciaté Paint Pot in the shade The Glossip. It is a very bright, on-trend orangey-pink summer shade. I don't usually wear bright colours on my fingernails but it looks great on my toes for my holiday! My favourite thing about this paint pot was the packaging. The bottles are 13.5ml which are much bigger than normal average nail varnish pots, the curved shape of the pot made it very unique, and the black bow on the front looked so cute. You can buy Ciaté Paint Pots for £9.00. I would definitely pay that, they have so many shades to choose from.

The final product I received was an Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz, which is very refreshing and rehydrating. The scent is an amazing lavender and peppermint, which is calming for your skin. For the full size product (100ml), which I received, it is only £6.00, I definitely think this is worth it. A must-have to take on holiday!
